STRINGS OF 200

| STOCK# | TITLE | DESCRIPTION | PRICE$ |
| 25 | Basic String | Roughly 90% Qing, naturally dominated by the commoner rulers, Peking Mints, though usually with some Sung, Ming, a Kai Yuan or two, and a few Japanese and Vietnamese. There may be a few contemporary counterfeits or badly worn/encrusted pieces, but generally they keep these out as unwanted by the jewelry market. SAMPLE STRING ($70 each per 3 or more) TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK. Order now without payment and I will advise when back in stock. | 80.00 |
| 25c | Needs cleaning | This group looks like it has spent more time buried than in circulation so the basic grade should be better, but it will take a little more effort in cleaning. SAMPLE STRING | 80.00 |
| DISCOUNT | For 25 and 25c ONLY price 70 each if taking 3 or more strings of 25 and 25c. You may order other strings, but these do not count toward a discount on 25 and 25c. | 70.00 |
| 26a | Everything But | Not many of the mid to late Qing that make up 90% of most strings, but a mixture of Ming & earlier, early larger-sized Qing (most Kang-Xi), some Vietnam, Japan Kanei Tsuho, etc. | 100.00 |
| 26b | Everything But | Not many of the mid to late Qing that make up 90% of most strings, but a mixture of Ming, Song and earlier, japan, Vietnam and (unfortunately) too many of the late struck cash. Some nicer stuff & some junk. | 90.00 |
| 26j | Kanei Tsuho | Japanese cash, main type of c. 1626-1862 period, most are Shin Kanei, mixed sizes, some with mint marks rev. The calligraphy varieties in this series are very subtle and there are many rarities in the series. | 110.00 |
| 26dg | The Hoard | Nearly all Jia Qing & earlier Qing reigns, a few Dao Guang but apparently nothing later . Many are exceptionally high grade with identical hazy white/green patina. My theory: Brought from China in early DG (1820s?) when 1736-1820 issueswere still lightly circulated, then buried in a pot, limiting the oxidation products to a light smear. SAMPLE STRING including a few pieces lightly wire brushed, which is all that is needed to remove the patina. Good choice for those studying calligraphy varieties or seeking high-grade cash without acid cleaning or tumbling. Several strings available. | 100.00 |
| 26kx | Big Ones | Someone has sorted out the larger size cash, so these run from Shun Zhi through the first few years of Qian Long, though mostly Kang Xi as the commonest reign of this period, plus some strays such as large Vietnam. | 100.00 |
| 26ky | Big Ones | Just as the kx above, but these have been cleaned in a tumbler. This saves you effort, but some will not like the brighter appearance. | 100.00 |
| 26ns | One Sided | Someone sorted the pieces without characters reverse, so these are mostly Song with some Ming, kai-yuan, Japan, and Vietnam. | SOLD |
| 26nv | One Sided | As 26nt but loose. Worst 200 selected from 400 pieces by grade. Some not bad, others will improve with cleaning, but many worn pieces. | 55.00 |
| BULK LOTS |
| 25L1 | Common Qing | 500 pieces of Ch'ien-Lung (Qian-long) 1736-95 This group from a U.S. coin dealer so possibly picked through. No damaged pieces, so good lot for jeweler or crafter. Size range 21-25.5mm. | 150.00 |
| 25L2 | Common Qing | 360 pieces of K'ang-hsi through Tao-kuang, later Qing Emperors. Sorted by Emperor. This group from a U.S. coin dealer so possibly picked through. No damaged pieces, so good lot for jeweler or crafter. Size range 21-27mm. | 108.00 |
| 25L3 | Damaged / worn | 107 pieces sorted out of bulk cash as too poor for jewelry use. Some would be decent if cleaned. | 21.00 |
